To earn a doctoral degree, most students complete a long research paper called a dissertation. A thesis is similar but usually comes at the end of a bachelors or masters program. Dissertations and theses represent vigorous academic study and can be helpful resources for your research projects.

The library has a few dissertation/thesis databases:

• Open Dissertations
• ProQuest One Academic
• You can also search in PML Search and Limit by Source Type to "Dissertations/Theses" 

If you know the title and author of a dissertation UTM does not have access to, you can request it through Interlibrary Loan.
