How do I find books?

Check out our "How to Find: Books & eBooks" Research Guide that can help you get started finding print books and ebooks.

Print books have something called a call number, which is kind of like an address to help you find a book on the shelf. Books at the Paul Meek Library are arranged by subject. If you find one book, look on the shelf around it and you might find more related books! View our call number video below to learn how to read a call number, and remember you can always chat, email, or stop by the front desk for more help!

To check out books, bring them to the front desk and present your books and your Skyhawk Card. Staff will check out your books and stamp the due date on them.
