I keep finding abstracts. How do I access the full-text of an article?

These are a few troubleshooting tips to see if you can get the full-text.

  • Look around your article - do you see an option to Download PDF, View Record, or Find Full-Text? Double check that you are logged in with your UTM username and password.
  • Some databases are abstract-only, but we may have the full-text of an article in another database. You can copy and paste the title and author of the article into PML Search on our library website to see if another option appears.
  • If you still cannot find the article, you will likely need to request it from Interlibrary Loan. This is a free service that allows you to get access to articles we do not have from other libraries around the United States.

Chat with us at anytime if you're trying to access full-text and need help. We can help you verify if the Paul Meek Library has full-text access to your article!
